Made in Switzerland, the entire Jura range features outstanding design and superb quality of build. All machines include the following key features:
- 6-step Conical Steel Grinder With 6 settings to adapt the granularity of the grind to the roast of the coffee. The slow rotation is designed to minimise heat generation so the flavour of the coffee is not impaired. A safety device prevents the machine from grinding if a stone becomes trapped in the mechanism.
- Claris Water Filter Filters out limescale deposits to protect the appliance and extend its service life. Removes chlorine and other organic contamination which could taint the coffee. Removes lead and other harmful heavy metals, while allowing flourides and healthy minerals to pass through.
- Patented Brewing Unit The heart of every Jura Impressa machine. The ground coffee is automatically pressed, moistened and then brewed. Intelligent electronics ensures that the amount of water in the pre-brew matches the quantity of coffee selected and the brew strength, to ensure optimum flavour.
- Height-adjustable Coffee Spout Adapts to the height of the cup or glass used.
- Programmable Switch-off Time Switches off automatically at the time you specify.
- Steam & Hot Water Function For frothing milk, heating liquids for other drinks, or pre-heating espresso cups.
- Adjustable Quantity of Water & Ground Coffee Ensures exactly the right amount of coffee for the cup size.
- Opening for Pre-ground Coffee Use a different type of coffee (e.g. de-caff) without removing the beans already in the system.
- Fully-automatic Decalcification Programme Programmable water hardness ensures optimal protection against limescale. Electronic display informs you when decalcification is necessary.
- Fully-automatic Cleaning Programme Coffee fats are removed from the brewing unit without opening the machine.
- Fully-automatic Rinse Programme Flushes out coffee grounds at power-on and power-off and pre-heats pipes for the first cup of coffee.
